Popis:	Conformation of 3-iminomethyl thiophenes has been elucidated from theoretical investigations, dipole moment measurements and use of stereospecific coupling through five bonds. An equilibrium between species 3c trans and 3t trans has been demonstrated. La conformation de 3-iminomethyl thiophenes a ete etudiee a partir de calculs theoriques, de mesures de moments dipolaires, de I'utilisation du couplage stereospecifique a travers cinq liaisons. Un equilibre entre les formes 3c trans et 3t trans a ete demontre.
