The structural features and the properties of heterogeneous vulcanizates produced with vinylpyridine complexes

Popis:	The structure of the vulcanization network produced by the complexes of 2-methyl-5- and 2-vinylpyridine with zinc halides were studied; the properties of these complexes were found to depend on the concentration of reactive chains which is associated with the micro particles of the complexes. The presence of micro particles containing monomer, and their number, are the main factors determining the properties of the vulcanizates containing complexes of different compositions. The rubbers produced with the complexes were found to posses all the characteristic features of heterogeneous vulcanizates and also their properties.
