A Politica Nacional de Promocao da Saude tem investido na implementacao de acoes para estimular a atividade fisica, alimentacao saudavel, combate ao tabagismo e alcool e promocao ao envelhecimento ativo. O objetivo deste artigo e analisar o perfil do estilo de vida de uma populacao de jovens e adultos que frequentam um Shopping Center na zona sul de Sao Paulo. Esse artigo trata-se de um estudo de corte transversal, com abordagem quantitativa. Foram coletados dados sociodemograficos e de saude e aplicados os questionarios “Estilo de Vida FANTASTICO” e “SRQ-20” a participantes de evento publico denominado “Feira de Saude”. Das nove dimensoes do FANTASTICO, as atividades fisicas, a nutricao, o uso de cigarro e drogas e o comportamento apresentaram escores abaixo da media. As outras dimensoes: familia, seguranca, uso do alcool, introspeccao e trabalho apresentaram resultados acima da media. Encontrou-se um escore medio de 70,8 (dp=12,54) para o estilo de vida, embora 49,2% dos participantes tenham apresentado sobrepeso e 23,6% obesidade grau I, II e III. Alem disso, houve prevalencia de 34% de pessoas com transtornos mentais comuns. O estilo de vida dos adultos foi considerado muito bom (70,8%), no entanto, os resultados mostraram que e imprescindivel enfatizar um estilo de vida saudavel por meio de Feiras de Saude, alertando a populacao de jovens e adultos sobre as vantagens de adotarem a pratica de atividade fisica e alimentacao equilibrada para controle do peso e de desenvolverem estrategias comportamentais para melhorar a saude. The aim of this paper is to analyze the lifestyle profile of a young and adult population who attends a mall in the south area of Sao Paulo. This is a cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach. Demographic and health data were collected and the questionnaires “Lifestyle FANTASTIC” and “SRQ-20” were employed to participants of this public event called “Health Fair”. From the Fantastic questionairie, some dimensions like physical activity, nutrition, tobacco and drugs use, and behavior had scores below average. Other dimensions like family, safety, use of alcohol, introspection and work had above average results. A mean score of 70.8 (sd=12.54) was verified for lifestyle, while 49.2% of participants were overweight and 23.6% were obese grades I, II and III. In addition, there was a prevalence of 34% of people with common mental disorders. The lifestyle of adults was considered to be very good (70.8%), however, results showed that it is essential to emphasize a healthy lifestyle through health fairs. It is useful for young and adult populations to know about the advantages in adopting an active lifestyle and balanced nutrition for weight control, and developing behavioral strategies to improve health. |
