Popis: Although much experience had been gained with the agents available for ADEPT studies in xenografted mice (Bagshawe et al., 1988), their translation into the clinic was in many ways a step into the unknown. It seemed possible, even likely, that new and unforeseen problems would emerge. To introduce a series of agents that would interact with each other in vivo was in itself a cause for some apprehension. One of the main objectives of the first study was to identify new problems, to obtain guidance on the dose levels of the various components likely to be effective, to test the potential of an immunosuppressive agent to allow more than one cycle of therapy to be given, and if possible, to demonstrate efficacy (Bagshawe et al., 1995)
