Popis: | The aim of this paper is to detect and mitigate two problems commonly observed in ZigBee networks. The first problem of oscillating link arises when device frequently changes parent devices used for routing packets, which consequently leads to additional time and resource waste. Second problem comes when a parent device has a dense cluster associated to it, in which case it becomes a bottleneck and can lead to traffic congestion and increased race for the radio resources. We provide 2 simple methods for topology control by modifying the transmission power of targeted devices. We demonstrate efficiency of proposed solution in detecting and mitigating issues on simple test topologies. |
