Popis: | Measurements of thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity and specific heat of an epoxy resin with and without the addition of an antraquinone in the temperature range 4.2–400 K are presented. The introduction of an antraquinone into an epoxy resin enhances its thermal conductivity and the thermal diffusivity, especially at cryogenic temperatures in the “plateau” region. The thermal conductivity increase is approximately 60%. The temperature dependence of the specific heat shows step-wise characteristics at low temperatures. |
