Popis:	Resume The complex [Pt2Cl7(CH2CH2)2] catalyses the hydrolysis of silanes (CH3)3SIR (R = CH3, C6H5) to the corresponding hydrocarbon RH and hexamethyldisiloxane. Data are provided concerning the influence of solvent and the transient formation of σ-platinum complexes.
