Popis: | A convenient nickel catalyzed approach towards the synthesis of diversely substituted 6-aza-tetrahydroquinazolines from pyrido-pyrimidine-2-thione motifs with organo boronic acids by non-basic desulfitative C−C cross coupling strategy is described. The absorption and emission spectral studies on some of the synthesised compounds reveal the existent of D-π-A−D systems displaying solvatochromism. |
