Popis: The paper is devoted to the study of mechanics interaction between a shaft and a plane bearing. The main parameter determining the accuracy of calculations is the bearing stiffness coefficient. A methodology for determining the stiffness coefficient and elastic force with geometric dimensions, uneven wear and clearance in the bearing is presented. The contact problem of the interaction of the shaft with the bearing is considered too. The relationship between the stiffness coefficient and the geometric shape of the bearing is found. The problem of finding the elastic force in the case when the inner surface of the unevenly worn bearing is considered too. The theoretical results are obtained and compared with the results of experiments. The experimental results are presented by a graph of the displacement magnitude depending on hydraulic press load and a graph of stiffness coefficient depending on bearing thickness. The proposed method for calculating the stiffness coefficient of the bearing, taking into account its geometric characteristics, allows giving a more precise description of contact interactions.
