The Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) has a very signicant role in tumour genesis and progression. Despite newer molecular and genetic diagnostic testing in breast cancer diagnosis, the diagnostic and prognostic assessment of breast cancer currently relies on morphology and clinicopathological prognostic factors. Regularly used blood-based parameters, like neutrophil and lymphocyte counts, are relatively easy to assess, making them attractive parameters for an improved individualised risk assessment. The aim of this study is to explore the signicance of NLR in Breast cancer staging. Among the 60 cases studied, the majority(34) had Stage III breast cancer followed by Stage II breast cancer. Patients with a higher NLR had a higher breast cancer stage (P value |
