Popis:	The population ecology of Schizaphis graminum (Rond.) was investigated in Missouri during the summers of 1979 and 1980. Population numbers of S. graminum were sampled and correlated with various biotic and abiotic factors, namely, numbers of predators and parasites, days after planting, daily ambient air temperature means and extremes, microhabitat air temperature means and extremes, daily relative humidity and weekly rainfall. Stepwise regression and life-table analysis methods were used. In 1979, the number of after planting and coccinellid predators were of greatest significance in influencing S. graminum numbers, whereas during 1980, numbers of coccinellid and Chrysopa larvae correlated significantly with S. graminum densities
