Popis: This document exposes a technological tool built under the guidelines of the augmentative and alternative communication system - PECS, which consists of six phases and aims to promote independent communication of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The obtained tool is an application for Windows OS developed on the Unity and Arduino platforms to facilitate physical user interaction. The methodology used was iterative design, whose agile development approach allows improving the product incrementally in each iteration with the contribution of a multidisciplinary team made up of experts in information and communication technology, language rehabilitation, education, and graphic design. As a result, an augmentative and alternative communication system of easy installation, learning and configuration by the therapist was obtained. Its design and implementation were done considering the requirements of the users.
