Popis: | We report the case of a 16 year old female with a genu recurvatum of 30 degrees. This was caused by partial growth arrest of the proximal tibial physis due to traction after femoral stem fracture in traffic accident when she was 12 years old. she was successfully managed by open wedge osteotomy proximal to the tibial tuberosity and bone allografts. She is satisfied with the results, especially the cosmetic views. The problem after operation is patella infera and instability of the knee. |
