Patient monitor is important that used to monitor a patient's vital condition. The purpose of this study is to develop a patient monitor to record the electrocardiograph (ECG), respiration rate, SPO 2 , and body temperature at a low cost. ECG signal detection using lead II, flexible sensor installed in the chest area to the abdomen to detect the respiration rate, SPO2 finger sensor mounted on the fingertip, and the temperature sensor placed on the armpit. In previous studies patients have been monitored by sending data using cables that have deficiencies in the process of sending data. Therefore the author gave the latest innovation by sending wirelessly and adding SPO2 parameters. Then all parameters were processed using an Arduino microcontroller. A Bluetooth transmitter was parameters to the computer. Delphi programming was designed to display all the parameters. After evaluation, all average errors in the ECG parameter was 0.0054%, respiration rate was 0.0185%, SPO2 was 1.02%, and the temperature was 0.8%. All parameters used in this design can be used to monitor patients in the intensive care unit area or home. |
