Popis: The purpose of this paper is to develop an electrical home appliance simulator, which reflects their energy consumption. Device modelling is based on their thermal circuit analogy, where energy balances between external air temperature, internal air temperature, thermal losses, are described as temperature dynamics. Objective of the paper is to evaluate home energy consumption by aggregating single appliance consumption. Every device energy consumption model represents their demand gained by thermostat On/Off temperature control. Devices selected for this purpose are oven, water heater, domestic heater, refrigerator, iron, washing machine, lights and TV as major consuming devices commonly used in Albania. The models are simulated in Simulink, MATLAB considering device time of use based on occupant behaviour. Proposed model allows us to simulate beforehand the energetic behavior of largest consumption home devices to estimate peak consumption and reducing it.
