Popis: The 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane [TPA] complexes of the type [MCl 2 (TPA) 2 ] (where M = Ni, Pd, Pt) , [Ni (CN) 2 (TPA) 3 ] and [PtCl (TPA) 3 ] (BPh 4 ) have been synthesized and characterized by 1 H, 31 P { 1 H} NMR, Laser-Raman spectroscopy and elemental analyses. The reactivity of the complexes [MCl 2 (TPA) 2 ] with water to produce the oxide of TPA follows the order Pt > Pd > Ni. The structure of the complex [Ni (CN) 2 (TPA) 3 ] · 4.3H 2 O was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction methods. The structure determination shows that the nickel atom has a trigonal-bipyramidal geometry with the cyanide ligands in the apical positions.
