Biotransformation of resibufogenin by Actinomucor elegans and the cytotoxicity of the resulting metabolites

Popis:	The microbial transformation of resibufogenin by cell suspension cultures of Actinomucor elegans AS 3.2778 yielded metabolites 1–6. The chemical structures of these transformed products were determined by various spectroscopic analyses, including 1D and 2D NMR and HRESIMS. Metabolites 3–5 were new compounds. Furthermore, metabolites 1, 5 and 6 showed moderate cytotoxicities against two human cancer cell lines (A549 and H1299) in an in vitro bioassay.
