Popis:	A variety of environmental injuries may result in serious cardiovascular disturbances. Although these conditions are infrequently encountered, they may have devastating effects on the individual patient. The cardiovascular consequences of environmental injury may range from the subtle to the dramatic. This article summarizes the pathophysiology and management of injuries resulting from burns, contact with domestic or natural electricity, and exposure to extremes of atmospheric pressure.
