Microwave surface resistance and transport properties of superconducting YBa2Cu3Ox films

Popis: Microwave surface resistance, Rs, at a frequency of 60 GHz, current-voltage characteristics and critical currents of superconducting YBaCuO sputtered thin films with different microstructures and degrees of orientation'were investigated. Films grown on epitaxial BaxSr1 − xTiOgMgO(100) substrates with a thickness of between 250 and 450 nm were highly c-axis oriented and they had the highest value of critical current (~ 106 A/cm2 at 77 K) and the lowest value of rs (~ 10'−2Ω at T ≤ 70 K). The possible mechanisms of the destruction of superconductivity and Rs formation in the films are discussed.
