63Cu, 65Cu and 51V NMR spectra and spin-lattice relaxation rate have been measured in CuV2S4. Relaxation rates 63(1/T1) of 63Cu and 65(1/T1) of 65Cu obey the Korringa law at high temperatures (T ≥ 170 K), and their ratio is very close to the square of the ratio of their gyromagnetic ratios. Below 150 K, 65(1/T1) and 63(1/T1) increase and diverge due to charge density wave transition with decreasing temperature. Their ratio decreases and approaches the square of the ratio of their electric quadrupole moments. |
