Popis: This chapter deals with microspectrophotometry and its applications. Measurements of the diffuse and spectral reflectance, transmittance, and photoluminescence spectra of very small samples or samples with spatial resolution in the micrometer range are required in a variety of applications, ranging from process control of thin-film thickness; pattern fidelity in the semiconductor industry; quality control in the ink, toner, and pigments industries; forensic analysis of transferred of tracer materials in patent, tort, civil, or criminal cases, to more novel evaluations of protein crystals; silver and gold nanodispersions; graphene and carbon nanotubes to cellulosic nanomaterials; and lignin chemistry.
