Popis:	Surface injuries to the talus are relatively common in athletes and may occur as a result of acute injury but are often evaluated in a subacute or chronic setting. The purpose of this manuscript is to outline the key elements to understanding osteochondral lesions of the talus and identify methods of evaluation and treatment for these injuries. Specific methods of treatment are discussed and outcomes emphasized. Concurrent deformities and ligament instability patterns are reviewed.
