Interventional radiologists are an important part of that team, utilizing catheter-based techniques such as embolotherapy, etc. At times such therapies can be lifesaving, especially in the clinical setting of massive postpartum hemorrhage. This chapter provides an overview of these minimally invasive image-guided techniques.
