Popis:	A contra-lateral hind limb infusion of a mixture of six amino acids (MET, LYS, HIS, ARG, THR, CYS) had no significant effect on muscle growth or fat deposition but did increase wool growth. An infusion of casein or the six amino acids into the abomasum positively increased N retention (slope 0.34). It was concluded that the concentration of arterial amino acids per se did not control growth of muscles in the hind limb.
