| Popis: | Big Bang cosmology successfully accounts for the almost isotropic black-body spectrum of the microwave background, and the primordial abundances of the light elements inferred from measurements, over nine orders of magnitude. However, if the first observations of deuterium outside our galaxy, in a gas cloud at a high redshift – which should have an essentially primordial chemical composition – are confirmed, some previously cherished conclusions will have to be discarded. |
