Interpenetrating polymer networks (IPN) on the basis of epoxide resin and polyurethane ionomer were obtained. Temperature transitions in the IPN were studied by the dilatometric method in a broad composition range. It was shown that the glass temperatures of the components are displaced on the temperature scale as compared with the individual networks. The change of the glass temperature of the epoxide component with composition is not monotonous, whereas the glass temperature of the ionomer increases regularly with the increase of the fraction of the rigid component in the IPM. The displacement of the glass temperatures appears to result from the phase separation in the system, formation of an interphase region and its enrichment by component containing surface-active ionogenic groups. |
