Popis: | The atomic structure of a melt-spun amorphous Ni56Dy44 alloy was studied by neutron diffraction using the isotopic substitution technique with nickel isotopes. The three Faber-Ziman partial structure factors as well as the Bhatia-Thornton partial structure factors together with the corresponding correlation functions were evaluated. The short-range order parameter, calculated from the partial coordination numbers, reflects a chemical ordering effect in amorphous Ni56Dy44. |
