Popis:	The two-dimensional axisymmetric problem of the rapid deceleration of a body in an homogeneous atmosphere is numerically investigated. It is established that the calculation domain has an important influence on the drag coefficient. Cases are noted in which it is not possible to carry out the calculations only in the region between the body and the forward shock.
