The present retrospective survey aims at an analysis, systematization and generalizing the author’s experience of using the tools and concepts of synergetics in her linguistic research done during the period of her employment in the «People’s Ukrainian academy» (2012-2019) and accomplished within the framework of the area known as Linguo-synergetics. Synergistic tendencies can also be traced in discourse studies, where discourse is now viewed from the synergistic perspective, whose key principle is the systemic-integrating one. Aspecial place in the author’s sphere of interests belongs to economic discourse (ED), conceptualized as a complex self-organizing macro-system and contrasting English and Russian ED with the aim of identifying their ethno-cultural characteristics. An attempt is also made to use synergistic ideas as a «methodological paradigm» of contemporary pedagogy, in particular, for analyzing the dynamics of the educational process at the «People’s Ukrainian academy», which consists, according to the author, in a transfer from the traditional discipline-based model to a synergistic pedagogical one with its key idea of continuous (life-long) learning. The results obtained so far make it possible to mark the beginning of a qualitatively new stage in the development of the synergistic paradigm – a stage opening to researcher new vistas in their search for answers to the global challenges of our contradictory modern world |
