A new one-cycle control scheme for Active Power Filter (APF) is raised to improve its performance, which is enlightened by the discovery that source current should oscillate near zero point by applying traditional one-cycle control strategy for APF based on unipolar operation. It uses ip-iq based algorithm to isolate the load foundational current and treats the foundational component of load current as tracking target. So the circuit of one-cycle control for APF is composed of foundational component isolation of load current, integrator, comparator and trigger to implement the function of hormonic compensation of APF, by which the dependence on system parameters can be lowered. It establishes the mathematical model of one-cycle control for APF based on current feedback, analyses the working process of the system, and compares the raised strategy with traditional one-cycle control strategy based on unipolar operation by employing simulation experiment. Computer simulation results show that the raised strategy is with better stability and tracking capacity, and can acquire lower THD. |
