SAR interferometric techniques from ground based system for the monitoring of landslides

Popis: A measurements campaign aimed to remotely monitoring the stability of a slope, using a ground based interferometric radar equipment, has been concluded. An area of fast movement has been detected and the displacement field has been accurately measured. In addition, the measurements allowed to follow the time evolution of the phenomenon. The, obtained results validate the approach, in the context of critical events over relatively small areas, as a complement to the application of interferometric techniques from space as well as to other traditional tools for ground displacement monitoring.
