Popis:	Since development of the resistance-inducing factor (RIF), by Rubin (11), cell cultures have been widely used in studying the avian lymphoid leukosis viruses. Marek's disease (MD) agent has not been shown to possess RIF activity, and it is not readily cultivated in cell cultures (2). However, Vindel (14) reported the successful propagation of an agent in chicken embryo fibroblast (CEF) cultures inoculated with brain filtrates from chickens with MD.
