Athena once assumed the form of Mentor, Odysseus’ trusted counselor, in order to become the guardian and teacher of Odysseus’ son, Telemachus. Athena’s attributes of wisdom, skill and contemplation are required ingredients for research success. Mentoring, too, is essential for bringing along the next research generation. |
