Popis: | The computer program FRINGE was developed at the Optical Sciences Center of the University of Arizona for the purpose of aiding in the interpretation of interferometric data. The program fits a set of Zernike polynomials to the data. The polynomial expansion provides optical aberration information and serves as an interpolation function. Contour maps, geometric ray analyses, and diffraction calculations are made from the interpolated pupil function. Simple methods of fitting tilt and defocus can be used when available computers are limited to programmable calculators. |
