Popis: | The paper deals with the structure, phase and elementary compositions, and tribological behavior of eutectic silumin AK12M2MgN modified by micro- and ultradispersed refractory powder fillers BNAl and SiO2(B,Ti) that are alloyed with elements reactive to aluminum. It is shown that the reinforcement of silumin is accompanied by the formation of nanosized ceramic inclusions AlN, AlB2, TiB2, and α-Al2O3 due to in situ reactions which operate during the production of the modifiers and composites. They have a great modifying impact on the structure of the original alloy. In addition, the presence of these compounds boosts the wear resistance of silumin 1.7–2.9 times; its carrying capacity increases and its friction coefficient decreases by 1.5–4.0 times. |
