Popis:	This paper has as an objective to show the incidence of socio - eco- nomic characteristics in the selection of paradigms for the processing and spa- cing distribution of social and health attributes. The administrative - political divi- sion of the central area of Cuba, serves as a scenario to test different cartographic representation variants, and from them, the application of the "Object Model" is proposed as the most appropriate to evaluate the possible correlations between discreet, natural or anthropic factors that happen in the regional and local envi- ronment, taking into consideration the kindness of the technology of the Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
