Popis:	The redox behaviour of manganese oxide-doped Y 2 O 3 -stabilized ZrO 2 powders prepared from emulsions is studied using coulometric titration. Continuous oxygen release and bonding is dependence on the temperature indicates a homogeneous solid solution of manganese in YSZ in contrast to a reference compound containing a separate MnO σ -phase at the surface of YSZ.
