Popis: | An associate degree nursing program identified a downward trend in National Council Licensure Exam for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN), negatively impacting program outcomes. In response, a 1-hour hybrid capstone course taken in conjunction with graduating senior courses was developed. The course incorporates simulation and NCLEX preparation. Implementation of the capstone course has proven to be an invaluable asset to the program, with upward trends in both Health Education Systems Incorporated and NCLEX-RN pass scores. |
