Popis: | An optically controlled reconfigurable antenna array is proposed. A microstrip antenna array operating at 1GHz is designed. The elements of array are controlled using photoconductive switches. For different switching operations both frequency and radiation pattern of the antenna is reconfigured. Frequency reconfiguration with switching ratio of 10–50MHz is achieved and pattern reconfiguration of 90° is obtained. The results are obtained using high frequency structural simulator (HFSS) tool. |
