Popis: In the early 60's, the first studies of laser radiation (LR) interaction with biological objects were carried out. Experiments showed that laser beam due to monochromaticity and coherence has a high power density, allowing selective thermal effect on living tissues without significant damage to adjacent tissues. Since the 70s, LR has significantly expanded its applicability and has been successfully introduced in the clinic of internal diseases. In the early 80's the first intravascular irradiation of blood with helium-neon laser (HNL) using a light guide was carried out. This method has found wide application. For any organism laser light is an unfamiliar artificial stimulus, not found in natural conditions. The main features of LR are high directionality, monochromaticity and energy intensity.
