Popis:	A simple, one-stage operation is presented for the construction of a perineal body in a female who has a common rectovaginal opening, or cloaca. The operation has been performed on 3 teenaged girls, with an excellent result in each. In only one instance has been necessary to perform a secondary operation for correction of the rectal incontinence.
