Popis:	PTH receptors have been demonstrated in several cell types and in isolated membranes from these cells. Putative receptors for both the amino terminal (1–10) and carboxy terminal (11,12) domains of the hormone have been reported. While the receptors for the amino terminal portions of PTH are believed to be related to activation of adenylyl cyclase, the function of receptors for carboxy terminal segments of this peptide is unknown.
