Study of antibacterial activity of ecofriendly synthesized magnesium oxide nanomaterials using plant extracts of Parthenium hysterophorus

Popis: In the present investigation, we have carried out an eco-friendly synthesis of magnesium oxide nano materials (MgONM) by using a plant extract of Parthenium hysterophorus. These synthesized nanomaterials are characterized by using scanning electron microscopy, X−ray diffraction, EDS and UV−visible spectroscopy. On the basis of characterization results, we have to confirmed that the formation of MgONM. The synthesized MgONM gives the interesting results of antibacterial activity against pathogenic bacteria of gram positive (S. aureus,) and gram-negative strains (E. coli, P. aeruginosa) using well diffusion method.
