Regioselective addition of aniline to 8H-pyrido[2,3,4-mn]acridinone: structure determination of the reaction product

Popis: | A combination of NMR techniques, including 13C and 1H DEPT, HMQC and HMBC experiments, was used to assign the structure of the compound formed by addition of aniline to 8H-pyrido[2,3,4-mn]acridine. From this NMR study, two structures were possible. This ambiguity was removed by regioselective introduction of one deuterium on the starting compound. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. |
