Popis: | Magnetic gear has been proposed as a means of torque transmission system considering gear ratio, while avoiding disadvantages associated with transferring torque through mechanical counterparts. Considering the transient performance characteristics is one of the important steps in the design of magnetic gears. In this paper, the two dimensional finite element method (2-D FEM) is employed to investigate the settling time and delay time of an axial flux magnetic gear (AFMG) under various loads. Furthermore, the impact of overload on the stability time of the case study AFMG are analyzed. The obtained results confirm the significant influence of the input torque on the transient performance characteristics of the case study AFMG. |
