Popis: This work presents the in vivo and in vitro investigations performed on a model (phantom or human breast) with a view to detect the specific heat generated by a structure adjacent to the model. It is known from literature that a tumor tissue presents an increased temperature compared to the neighboring healthy tissue. An experimental model was realized, a phantom of the human breast, in order to reveal the influence of the temperature generated by a hose located on the phantom surface. The structure adjacent to the model induces an increased temperature in the zone of emplacement. The temperature differences have been detected by means of a microwave radiometer. The in vitro studies were correlated with the in vivo ones, the results being presented in this work.
