Popis: The visualized osseous structures on chest CT which include the spine, ribs, sternum, scapula, and humerus should be examined on bone window settings (Level 600, Window 3000). Look at each one individually to see if it is fractured or contains a lytic or sclerotic lesion. The bones are reviewed on axial images, and the review is supplemented by looking at sagittal images to exclude a vertebral body compression fracture. Chest wall deformities can be diagnosed on CT and include pectus excavatum and carinatum.
