Interferometric determination of the dispersion and atomic parameters of some eye vitreous substitute solutions

Popis: Multiple-beam fringes of equal chromatic orders are applied to obtain the dispersion and atomic parameters of silicon oil and salt solution as eye vitreous substitute solutions. The corresponding parameters for distilled water and eye tears are studied for comparison. A single interferogram for each sample is sufficient to deduce the whole set of parameters needed. A modified single-term Sellmeier dispersion formula has been used for fitting the experimental data and deducing the atomic parameters.
