Popis:	Upon dissociation of bovine-heart F1 in 3M LiCl one of the two non-exchangeable nucleotides is lost and one remains bound to the residual α3γδe moiety. Reconstitution of this α3γδe moiety with s-subunits to intact F1 requires the presence of an adenine nucleotide triphosphate in the anti-configuration. The site at which the second “non-exchangeable” nucleotide is bound is a potentially catalytic s-site.
