On 1f2pNuclei. Seniority-three States of thev(2p3/2, 1f5/2, 2p1/2)3Configuration in59Ni

Popis: | The electromagnetic decay properties of the residual states in 59Ni formed by the 56Fe(α,n)59Ni*(γ) reaction have been studied at α-particles incident energies between 10 and 14 MeV by measuring yield function, angular distribution and linear polarization of the γ-transitions and γ-γ coincidences. The non-stripping states at excitation energies 1 338.0 keV, 1 767.5 keV and 2 705.0 keV have been assigned uniquely as 7/2-, 9/2- and 11/2-, respectively, and identified as the expected senority-three states of the v(2p3/2, 1f5/2, 2p1/2)3 configuration. The dipole-quadrupole mixing ratios have obtained for the following transitions: 339.4 keV (5/2- → G.S.): δ = 0±0.01; 878.1 keV (3/2- → G.S.): δ = 0±0.12; 1 338.0 keV (7/2- → G.S.): pure E2; 998.6 keV (7/2- → 5/2-): δ = -4.8-0.9+0.8; 1 428.1 keV (9/2- → 5/2-): pure E2; 429.5 keV (9/2- → 7/2-): δ = +0.09±0.05; 1 367.1 keV (11/2- → 7/2-): pure E2 and 937.4 keV (11/2- → 9/2-): δ = +0.95-0.17+0.60 |
